Service Providers

These companies process personal data on our behalf to provide Research Monitor. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

Services you choose to use
These receive data only if you use them, under their own privacy policies: Google, if you sign in with Google; ORCID, if you verify your researcher identity; GitHub, if you sync notes to Obsidian; and the AI app or agent you connect to your account.
Public literature databases
To find and describe papers, we query public scholarly databases, including PubMed, Europe PMC, bioRxiv, medRxiv, arXiv, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref and public grant databases. Some receive search terms from your searches, fields of your own, imports and syllabi. We don't send them your email address or account details, though a search can include a name you type.
